The V-Band is a connecting and sealing band for use with the HB heat protection band, and offers safe protection from radiation heat and small splashes of liquid steel and slag. It consists of a special silicone/rubber blend with self-adhesive and self-vulcanizing properties that prevent moisture penetration.
